Steve Chiu (MBA 1995) Senior Vice President, Head of Hong Kong Retail PIMCO Asia Limited Steve is a senior vice president in the Hong Kong office and a member of the global wealth management team. As the head of the Hong Kong retail business, he focuses on building distribution partnerships with financial intermediaries in the region, particularly with banks, insurance companies and independent financial advisors. He has over 25 years of wealth and asset management experience, covering fund management, banking and insurance firms. He was most recently Vice President, Investment Funds at Manulife Asset Management (Hong Kong). Prior to that, he held senior management roles in Bosera Asset Management (International), AIA Wealth Management, Invesco Asset Management, HSBC Retail Banking and HSBC Asset Management. He is also a CFA charterholder and a CFP certificant. |

Jenny Pong (MBA 2003) Group Director, Human Resources JTH Group (a member of the Jardine Matheson Group) Jenny Pong is the Group Director, Human Resources of JTH Group, a member of the Jardine Matheson Group. Jenny was brought in to help turnaround the organization back in 2013. While the rest of the top team was busy fixing the business, Jenny and her team were working on the people agenda. In 3 years, staff turnover reduced by 40% and people engagement improved by 8%. These results were shown not only in Hong Kong, but also in China, Singapore and Malaysia where JTH Group operates. Jenny has also shaped the future of HR by introducing new technologies and concepts of employee experience. Her innovative ideas and launch of Gamification, HR digitalization, data analytics and VR360 had caught market attention lately. Jenny has over 20 years of Human Resources Management experience, most of which was in regional leadership roles. Prior to joining JTH Group, she was the Asia Pacific Head of Human Resources for General Insurance business at Zurich Financial Services focused on enhancing HR from a transactional to strategic function. Among her other roles, Jenny served as the Asia Pacific Head of Human Resources for State Street Global Advisors and the Change and Development Manager at Cathay Pacific Airways. In these roles, Jenny’s focus was more on building the HR function from scratch. Jenny has a mission to bring HR to the front end of the business via capability enhancement and innovation. |
Jason Tsang (MBA 2000) Director, Asia Pacific Cloud Pursuit Oracle Jason Tsang is the Director of the APAC Cloud Pursuit Team at Oracle Systems HK Ltd. He is currently working with companies to develop new ideas and approaches that utilize the latest advancements in cloud technology, particularly in AppDev, Integration, AI/Machine Learning, Chatbots and Cloud@Customer. He has over 20 years of IT experience helping companies to bridge the technical divide between user needs, pain points and technology. His experience includes implementing ERP and CRM systems, developing customer Java applications and managing IT operations. Prior to his tenure at Oracle, he held various positions at BEA Systems, Nortel Networks and Credit Suisse. In his spare time, he loves to exercise, play golf, listen to music and enjoy his wines. |

He joined The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong in December 2008, following five years at Bloomberg News in London and Hong Kong working as a senior reporter, and later an editor, covering the currency and government bond markets. |
